This past February, my husband and I took our 4-year old son to Florida. We had several destinations in Florida including Magic Kingdom, a monkey island, and Sea World.
As a family, we enjoy aquariums. Who wouldn’t like brightly colored fish and coral, exotic creatures like sea horses and starfish, entertaining animals like sea lions and penguins, and beasts like sharks and whales? Most of the aquariums in the Northeast that we have been to lack dolphins and large sharks, which my son really wanted to see. So, we leaned on Sea World for this. They did not disappoint! It was all there – Sea lions, dolphins, whales, penguins, turtles, sting rays, and sharks!
The first dolphin tank that we walked by mesmerized our son. It was the first time that he had seen dolphins live and up close, and he couldn’t take his eyes off of them. I was lucky to get this picture of him looking through the tank window, watching the dolphins weave gracefully throughout their tank. It’s one of my favorite pictures. What do you think?
Oh my son loves looking out all kinds of windows, so I have many photos of him having this same pose as your son. Photos like this one are wonderful records of our children’s childhood. 🙂
