Weekly Photo Challenge: Textures

Ask any mom of a young child and they can tell you where the best playgrounds in the area are. They can even rate each one based on best slides and swings, accessible bathrooms and garbage cans, shaded areas, and if they are on rubber bits, wood chips or grass. Some are better on weekends and some are better during the week; some are too crowded in the afternoons, while others seem to have no one in the afternoons.

Most playgrounds in my area are surrounded by woodchips. They are easily maintained and replaced, eco-friendly, and come in assorted colors. However, they are not as friendly to feet as grass. Close up, they sure do make in interesting photo.
