Late Autumn in Upstate NY always brings unpredictable weather. Sometimes you get early snow, other times you get an Indian summer. There’s no indication in the previous seasons as to which Autumn you will get – hot summers don’t mean warm falls, wet summers don’t mean cold falls either. Most years, Upstate NY weather can baffle and confuse meteorologists, as well as its residents.
This photo is of a late Autumn morning, a day or so after an early snowfall. One day it was cold enough for a substantial snowfall, the next day brought warm air, creating this misty morning photo.
